City & Guilds is one of the largest providers of End-point Assessments, for over 50+ apprenticeship standards, across many industry areas.
We are currently recruiting for suitable, qualified individuals to become Independent End-point Assessors (IEPAs), who will assess apprentices’ competence in line with City & Guilds End-point Assessment policies and procedures.
Key roles and responsibilities for an Independent End-point Assessor;
- Assess and document apprentice competence against Apprenticeship Standards either at designated venues or remotely, using the stated assessment methods
- Provide advice and support to the End-point Assessment team
- Participate in standardisation activities to ensure a consistent approach to End-point Assessment
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of City & Guilds End-point Assessment policies and procedures
Minimum requirements for the Independent End-point Assessor role;
- Hold a Level 3 assessor qualification or accreditation
- Hold current (within the last 3 years) technical/occupational competence in MET or Paint or Panel at or above the Apprenticeship Standard
- Maintain a programme of ongoing CPD to provide 40 hours of work experience or technical development within a 12-month period.
