Product Introduction Logistic Leader

Provide logistic support for spares/consignment parts, consumables, special tools, test equipment and repair loop.

Ensure availability of spares and field modifications material for timely PI execution

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES 

Key accountabilities:

Establish, initiate & monitor repair loop between depots, production site and suppliers (internal and external) until redelivery to customer site for the relevant projects

Ensure availability of any documentation regarding repair loop such as intervention reports, delivery notice, failure analysis report.

Update the relevant data system with all information related to the repair loop, material, special tools, test equipment, consignment

Consolidate & update lists of Warranty Spares / Consignment stock, Special Tools and Test Equipment

Enforce commercial requirements for Warranty Spares / Consignment stock and Special Tools / Test Equipment.

Evaluate sales opportunities regarding consignment or warranty spares not consumed (residual materials) together with Services or Project Management

Monitor material needs for PI activities (commissioning/warranty/field modification)

Organize material (kitting preparation) & associated documentation for PI activities (commissioning/warranty/field modification)

Supervise, coordinates and refill PI material for depots regarding PI activities (commissioning/ Warranty spares / Consignment stock / tools / field modification) in close relationship with Warehouse keeper

Store, inventory control and administration: Controlling of the central warranty stock.

Follow up of material delivery logistics

Optimize logistics processes & costs

Contribute to potential claims and support negotiations with external suppliers regarding PI issues

Ensure compliance with standard processes (ISO, EHS)

Coordinate with other functions to meet prioritized material availability needs of PI field staff.

Performance measurements:

Repair loop process implementation

Repair loop duration and availability of parts

Optimization of logistics and overall costs

Availability of documentation for potential warranty claims against suppliers

Availability of parts for Spare / Consignment stock, modifications and repairs as well as tools

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)

Minimum IT knowledge

Internal EHS training   

Desirable:

Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)

Experience

Mandatory:

Several years of customer depot or warehouse environment

Understanding and experience with Logistics issues

Field Experience

EHS knowledge and exposure

Product knowledge

Capacity to analyse supply contracts

Team management (if applicable)        

Desirable:

Engineering knowledge

Customer contact

Transparent communication and interrelation skills

Easy supplier contacts
