About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. If you have a strong background in accounting, particularly with proficiency in Xero accounting software, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.

  • Tax Planning: Manage tax filings, planning, and compliance, optimising tax efficiency and minimising liabilities.

  • Cost Management: Monitor and control company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.

  • Advisory Role: Provide financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making and business development.

  • Software Utilisation: Utilise Xero for accounting processes, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

What You Will Need

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a Chartered Accountant, with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and standards.

  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.

  • Mindset: A proactive approach, high level of integrity, flexibility, and a "can-do" attitude.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines under pressure.
