Salary: £85-£95 per day (based on experience)

If you are enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated, we want you to join our client school as a Behaviour Mentor in the lively and diverse community of Barking and Dagenham!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive school environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed.
  • Facilitate group sessions and activities that promote social skills and emotional well-being.
Job Requirements:
  • Empathy and Patience: Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
  • Behaviour Management: Skills in implementing effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and staff.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a school setting.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.
  Document Requirements:
  • Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate: A current enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or the willingness to process a new application through GSL Education.
  • Professional References: Two professional references related to child care or education.
  • Updated CV: A current and comprehensive CV.
