Are you a SEND Class teacher looking for work to start in September? Do you have an enhanced DBS on the update service and hold a QTS if so, We are looking for a teacher for an EYFS, KS1 or KS2 class. The children have sensory needs, are mainly non-verbal and can show challenging behaviours. The children are working at what were the P levels, below the old National Curriculum Level 1.

The role would involve planning, leading the class, completing reports etc as well as managing the three other staff.We are looking for someone who has experience working in an SLD school. We are looking for creative, fun, engaging lessons that give children different opportunities .You need to be proactive and able to get to know the children so they can see them as children first and foremost and best meet their needs. They need to encourage them to be as independent as possible in all their learning and to teach them in an age appropriate way even though academically they are working at a younger level .You will need to be willing to support the children positively in all situations and to be able to support children with medical needs, sensory needs and challenging behaviour.

Location: Hounslow

Salary: £180- 200 per day

Hours: 08:30am- 3:45pm

Contract: Full-time
