Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the UKs leaders in supply chain solutions to recruit for a number of experienced Voice Order Pickers to work at their site based in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire (8 miles East of Mansfield, and 12 miles West of Newark town centre.

Duties of the Role:

• Order picking using a voice activated headset (Talkman)
• Use of PPT and MHE to move stock safely around the warehouse
• Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately
• Handballing items off lorries
• Candidates with experience operating a PPT or other MHE equipment in a warehouse environment are preferred though full training will be provided.
• Some heavy lifting is required, up to max. 25kg.

The role is working within a temperature controlled environment where temperatures can reach as low as -20 degrees, however full PPE is provided.

This is a temp to perm position going permanent with the client after 12 weeks, subject to performance and conduct.

Desirable Experience:

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in a warehouse / order picking role, and who are committed and reliable. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, therefore only candidates looking for a long-term, permanent position should apply.

Due to the location of site, candidates must have their own transport for work as public transport does not operate in the area.

Hours of Work

• 9pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday

Rate of Pay:

This role pays £12.58 per hour, plus £60 per week shift allowance (subject to full attendance), paid weekly in arrears

Contract Start Date and Duration:

This role is due to commence immediately and is a temp to perm assignment, with the opportunity to gain a permanent contract following 12 weeks in post (subject to performance, attendance and conduct).
