The Academy is home to a significantly higher number of students with EHCPs, encompassing a wide variety of additional educational needs. Additionally, from September 2024, they are introducing a Nurturing Provision designed to support a select group of students as they transition into secondary school.

As Deputy SENDCO you will blend teaching responsibilities with additional duties tailored to support to students' diverse learning needs. The school are seeking a passionate individual to join their remarkable team. The Ideal Candidate

You'll need prior experience in SEN, a related degree, teaching certification, and extra qualifications in SEN. Great teaching skills are a must, along with the right attitude, personal qualities, and resilience. Flexibility, handling pressure well, and adjusting to the changing needs of students, families, and the school are also vital.
