We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for x1 Project manager based anywhere in England or Wales to work on a number of power/utilities projects.
Projects can be anywhere in England or Wales, and it’s expected you’ll travel to your site 1-2 times a week whilst the remainder of your time can be spent working remotely from home.
The Pay rate for the role will be £550 a day (paid CIS or LTD)
- Projects will heavily lean towards substations and a lot of the work will switch between 66KV and 132KV.
- On the days when you’re not on site, you’ll be able to work remotely/from home.
- You’ll be managing the project from the time the civils team hands over to you until project completion. Including the planning of your work and monitoring the cost control.
- Lead client meetings and walk them round site when necessary.
- Assist with the management of labour on site as well as the materials.
- Produce risk assessments and method statements and other HSE documentation alongside the HSE team.
- Advise the estimation team wherever necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CSCS (Black)
- SMSTS
- Relevant qualifications either from a project management background or an electrical background
- Ideally, you’d come from an electrical background and since become a project manager. However you would still be considered should you have been a project manager on similar projects already without an electrical background.
