£55,000 - £60,000/annum Hybrid working/ car/ bonus

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in airfield construction projects. The role focuses on electrical systems and infrastructure related to airside operations, including runway lighting, control towers, and other electrical components critical to airfield operations. Projects will range in value up to £10 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee electrical systems for airfield construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in airside and field-related infrastructure.
  • Ensure integration of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions where applicable.
  • Conduct site inspections and manage electrical installations and commissioning processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering within airfield construction or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems design and implementation, particularly in airside settings.
  • Experience with projects involving runway lighting, control towers, and related airfield electrical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to airfield operations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Advanced degree or additional certifications in Electrical Engineering.
