The opportunity
Our Client is one of the most iconic and well-known leading Motorcycle manufacturers in the World. Creating modern classics and with a healthy order book, it is our privilege to now be supporting them with the recruitment of an experienced Administrator who will join their Test Team on a part-time 20 hours working basis, typically spread over 3 days per week.

This is a contract position with an initial likely duration of 1 year, although there is a likelihood of this being extended at the end of this term.

The role 
As the Administrator for the Test Team, you will be part of the Global Technical Organisation and will report to the Test Team Manager taking responsibility for the administration of development activities.
A competitive hourly pay rate is on offer for this position.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • Getting quotes from various suppliers for materials, consumables, equipment & work required (i.e. equipment servicing).
  • Raising purchase requisitions, purchase orders, manual purchase orders and processing invoices for goods receipt notifications and communicating with the payables team with that information.
  • Updating several spreadsheets for orders, parcel deliveries, calibration/equipment, stock, ordering parts from India, financial information.
  • Processing DHL deliveries - parcels going out via DHL portal company account.
  • Creating PDF copies of purchase orders for suppliers.
  • Ordering parts / equipment / consumables from Amazon company account.
  • You will have the following qualifications & experience:
  • Should ideally be educated with GCSE Math’s and English – grade C minimum (or equivalent).
  • You should be an experienced Administrator who pays great attention to detail.
  • IT literacy is essential here and you should have the ability to work with Microsoft Office package and/or Google Apps.
  • You will need strong communication skills and will be a team player with a good customer service mentality.
  • Should have the ability to work on own your initiative and ensure workload is maintained, seeking new opportunities to add value when opportunity arises.
  • You will be able to manage and deliver Test Team admin projects on time and in full.
  • You will be able to maintain all spreadsheets and records in line with compliance requirements.
It’s great if you also have the following
  • Experience with the SAP invoicing system.
  • A passion for motorcycles and familiarity with the motorcycle market.
  • This position is available with immediate effect.
