Senior EC&I Engineer (Decommissioning Project) - 12 Month Contract

Position: Senior EC&I Engineer
Location: Nuclear Project, Reading
Contract Duration: 12 Months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
About the Role:
Join our clients team for a critical decommissioning project in Reading. Lead EC&I engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of EC&I systems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage EC&I engineering tasks
  • Develop and approve technical documentation
  • Oversee system installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Conduct risk assessments


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in the nuclear sector, especially decommissioning
  • Proven project leadership from concept to completion
  • Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and standards
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
