Senior EC&I Engineer (Decommissioning Project) - 12 Month Contract

Position: Senior EC&I Engineer
Location: Nuclear Project, Reading
Contract Duration: 12 Months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
About the Role:
Join our clients team for a critical decommissioning project in Reading. Lead EC&I engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of EC&I systems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EC&I engineering tasks
- Develop and approve technical documentation
- Oversee system installation, testing, and commissioning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Conduct risk assessments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in the nuclear sector, especially decommissioning
- Proven project leadership from concept to completion
- Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
