Your new company
A well-established and well renowned national construction company based in South Manchester is seeking an experienced accountant to join their finance team for 12 months to support the business through a period of growth.


Your new role
In your new role you'll be supporting the Finance Manager with adhoc projects whilst taking full ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts. You will have full control of the P&L whilst providing commercial support to Senior Stakeholders - finance and non-finance. You will also support a small finance team, mentoring and developing them when possible. You will be completing a hand over from the current Management Accountant who is going off on maternity leave.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (QBE will also be considered) and have previous experience in a similar role. The client has stated that due to the urgency of the role, you will need to be available to start within 4 weeks. Construction/property experience would be preferred and an advantage, but not a requirement.


What you'll get in return
