Dunbar Education is searching for an experienced MFL Teacher (Modern Foreign Languages) to work with us fulltime, starting in September 2024.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the MFL curriculum.
  • Student Engagement: Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential.
  • Assessment: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and support extracurricular activities related to MFL.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level is desirable.
  • Passion for Languages: Enthusiasm for teaching French, Spanish, or German (or a combination) to young learners.
  • Commitment: A dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
