About the School:
Our client, an OFSTED rated "Good" primary school in Bexley, is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team for maternity cover starting in September 2024. This school offers a well resourced, and positive environment for both staff and students, fostering a community where educational excellence is paramount.
Position Overview:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking student work, and supporting the learning and development of your pupils. You will work alongside a teaching assistant who will help manage classroom behaviour and support the students' understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons.
Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Assess student progress and provide targeted support.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) preferred but could suit an ECT.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and ability to cater to diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Passion for inspiring young learners.
