Seeking a SEND Teacher with responsibility in Numeracy – SEPTEMBER 2024!

We are looking for a SEND class teacher who will be responsible for Numeracy across the curriculum. You will play a key role in raising the standards of numeracy across the entire school. A commitment to improving outcomes for all learners will be the driving force behind your efforts.

As the Numeracy Coordinator, you will have high expectations and inspire students and colleagues alike. Your willingness to showcase your expertise to the teaching staff will contribute to a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of students with complex learning needs.

Graded as 'outstanding' by Ofsted, this is a leading all-age special school for children and young people aged 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties based in Chelmsford, Essex. The school provide a broad and ambitious curriculum that is profoundly focused on preparing learners for the future. Each learner has a personalised curriculum closely related to their education, health and care plan (EHCP). The curriculum is designed through collaboration with parents and carers and, as necessary, other professionals and specialists.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
