Role Overview: We are looking to appoint an outstanding Art Teacher for a long term position at an Academy in Exeter. You must be highly motivated, innovative leader dedicated to inclusive and inspiring teaching, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach challenging and stimulating lessons guided by the Academy policies
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the lesson and identify and create development targets.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Utilise academy resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of the students.
  • Participate in team meetings with key department leads.

What you will need to be a part of the Class People team:

  • QTS (Qualified Teaching Status in England)
  • A valid right to work in the UK
  • Strong classroom leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience in a similar education setting preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
