A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Program Manager with experience in the Specialty / Wholesale Market on a 12 month contract basis.

The day rate will be £750-800 Outside IR35, with the need to be in the city of London office three time a week

Responsibilities for the role are;

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects and programs within our Specialty Insurance division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, excellent IT experience, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management:
    • Lead and manage multiple projects and programs within the Specialty Insurance division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Monitor program progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, analysts, and IT professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and across departments.
  3. IT Management:
    • Oversee the implementation and integration of IT systems and solutions to support program objectives.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure technology initiatives align with business needs and industry best practices.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to contractual agreements.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
    • Facilitate effective communication and reporting to keep stakeholders informed of program status and developments.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program delivery, ensuring proactive management of potential issues.
    • Implement and maintain robust risk management frameworks and processes.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on the insurance industry, preferably within the London Market.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, including system implementation, integration, and vendor management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
