Solar PV Project Manager

Reporting to the Head of Solar Project Management you will be responsible for the successful delivery of roof and ground mounted Solar PV installations across multiple sites. This would involve managing the full process working with suppliers, internal teams and maintaining relationships with the client through the delivery of the project.
Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an Established renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Solar Project Manager on 6 months contract for its North of England sites
The Solar Project Management role comes with a day rate £450-550 per day DOE.
Duties
- Work closely with internals teams to handover the installation to maintenance phase
- Supervise the project lifecycle from site survey, approval process, construction phase and client hand over.
- Full H&S supervision and management of installation teams, including risk assessments
- Making sure the project maintains within budget, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Managing DNO applications
Key skills
- Experience in managing specifically commercial solar PV projects
- Project Management qualification (desirable)
- Excellent organisational with the ability to identify and create process improvements
