The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. Your patience, empathy, and dedication will help create a positive learning experience for students who need additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities that meet the needs of individual students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and complete their work.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Help students develop essential skills, including communication, social interaction, and problem-solving.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Encourage positive behavior and support students in managing challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience for all students.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for helping students and a commitment to their development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
