About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated KS2 Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in Key Stage 2, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering the KS2 curriculum.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with KS2 students.
- Understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo DBS checks).
