About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an SEN TA to join our inclusive and supportive school community in Camden. As an SEN TA you will work closely with students with high autism who express challenging behaviours, providing essential support and fostering a positive learning environment. While personal care may be required, it will be on very rare occasions. This role is perfect for an experienced and caring Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Application Requirements: 

•  Previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with autism and challenging behaviours.
• A caring and compassionate approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
• Patience and resilience in handling challenging situations.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Providing tailored support to students with high autism.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Helping students develop social skills and manage their behaviours.
• Occasionally assisting with personal care needs, as required.
