Title: Seeking a Commissioning Lead for Hyperscale Data Centre Project in Milan Introductory Paragraph: Our client is seeking an experienced commissioning lead to join their team as the client's representative on a hyperscale data centre project based in Milan, Italy. This contract position offers competitive compensation dependent on experience and provides an opportunity to work with one of the leading companies in data centre development. Qualifications: - Must have experience working on data centre projects. - MEP background required. - Excellent communication skills are necessary since this role requires acting as the client's liaison throughout all stages of the project. - Must have an EU passport / Italian residency already in place. Responsibilities Include: Coordination - Coordinate operations among various teams involved throughout different phases of commissioning such as testing & balancing (TAB), pre-commissioning/commission planning reporting, etc.
Management - Take responsibility for managing people like sub-contractors or vendors who will perform specific tasks during projects
Quality Assurance/Control- Ensure that equipment installation adheres strictly to design specifications by overseeing inspections before they proceed through each phase.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should possess technical knowledge related to electrical systems including generators/distribution panels along with cooling/heating units used specifically within large-scale facilities like hyper scale DCs .
