Position: Assembly Operative

Day shift: £15.25ph - £18.00ph

Location: Dagenham

Rotation Shift: 40 hours per week - 06:00am - 14:00pm & 14:00pm - 22:00pm

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Assembly Operatives in Dagenham to start work immediately on a rotational shift pattern.

We have both contract and permanent positions available working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance automotive parts. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Our client requires candidates who have proven assembly skills and previous experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment. Training can also be provided for candidates with the right attitude and hands on experience.

Duties to include:

• Assembling parts and components on a production line using a range of tools.
• Prepping of materials for production.
• Working from company diagrams (SOP's)
• Operating of workshop machinery and equipment.
• Work efficiently within a set time frame.

Desired experience

• Previous experience working within production/manufacturing.
• Methodical approach and the ability to investigate problems in a logical manner.
• Production line experience.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, resourceful can-do attitude.
• Good team player.
