Early Years Teaching Assistant

Timeplan education are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our lovely schools in South London. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in our early years setting.

Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support to children to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observing and recording children's progress and providing feedback to parents and teachers.
• Supporting children with additional needs and working collaboratively with external agencies when necessary.
• Helping with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
• Contributing to the overall ethos and objectives of the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant qualification in early years education (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an early year setting.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
