Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a large Rail infrastructure project in the Cambridge area.
The candidate must:
- Have Previous experience working on Civils projects working on RC Structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
- Must have previous experience working with designers for planning requirements.
- Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to several site Engineer’s and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
- Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
- Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying/ordering materials such as Concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials etc.
- Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
- Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
- Must drive and have a valid Driving Licence.
- Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
- A vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
