I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Head of ASB Enforcement this role will be: N22 7TY

The right candidate will:

• The role holds the key responsibility for delivery of services in the areas of: ASB, Noise and Environmental enforcement and the Council’s CCTV operation in line with local and national policy and legislation.
• The post holder will deliver large in-house services and will be responsible for designing and delivering further services and service improvements.
• Directly responsible for a large staff group and accountable for implementation and execution of policy, procedures and processes. The staff numbers may vary but will generally compromise, professional, technical and operational support staff.
• Responsible for controlling complex budgets of significant value, including costing, analysis and financial controls.

We require the following:

• Experience working within a local authority DESIRABLE.
• Proven experience of developing and implementing strategic plans across a range of service areas.
• practical experience of managing an extensive work programme involving multiple stakeholders and across complex organisations, allocating tasks, directing resources and prioritising to achieve outcomes within fluid pressures.
